Product Description

Product Description

The liquid ring vacuum is mainly used to vacuumize in the slip tank to avoid bubble creation.
The ELMO-F vacuum pump together with the drive motor forms a compact, space-saving unit. A level surface is sufficient for installation. Baseplates are not required.
The ELMO-F units operate in accordance with the liquid-ring principle. An impeller is located in a cylindrical pump casting and is offset from the rotor axis. The impeller transmits the driving power to a liquid ring which forms concentrically to the casing when the pump is started up.
As the liquid moves outwards, gas in drawn in through the inlet port in the port plate, compressed and expelled through the discharge port in the port plate.

Working principle

The ELMO-F are single-stage, liquid ring unit, which are designed for continuous operation and used for generating vacuums or excess pressure. The ELMO-F units are used to extract and pump all dry and moist gases, mainly air and air/vapour mixtures, which are not flammable, explosive or corrosive.
The ELMO-F unit are designed for use in the rough vacuum range; the maximum possible vacuum is determined in each case by the vapour pressure of the working liquid used.
The vacuum pump is suitable for pumping out gas and water vapor, and the suction pressure can reach 33mbarA (97% vacuum)
